Collection of three attractive cards from the 1952 Topps issue each graded GOOD 2 by PSA each boasting eye appeal far in excess of the assigned grade. These three cards are part of a fresh find of 1952 Topps high numbers consigned to Love of the Game by a family in southwestern Pennsylvania. The find was a mystery the cards clearly belonging to the patriarch of the family who has passed away but who was not a sports fan or a collector. The cards were found tied together by a piece of twine in a small pile amidst a box of his childhood toys likely purchased when he was a child and then put away when he lost interest. Because the cards had been stored inside a box and tied together with string several of the cards did suffer from surface wear and damage; it is our assumption that the cards in question were near the top of the pile. Such is the case with these three cards #317 Connie Marrero #320 John Rutherford and #395 Jake Pitler. Though all three are likely among the finest GOOD 2-graded 1952 Topps cards you are likely to see the grade is accurate for all three as the surface wear is evident upon close examination. Three cards total.
