Clean 1947-53 Reach Official American League baseball signed by Hall of Famers Ray Schalk (sweet spot) and Red Faber both in blue ballpoint pen. Faber suffered through some injuries during the 1919 season that kept him out of the World Series that year. Schalk years later said that had Faber been available to pitch the fix would most certainly not have worked as Faber would've gotten some of the starts that ultimately went to Eddie Cicotte and Lefty Williams both of whom conspired to fix the series. The ball is clean the signatures legible but lightly faded with Schalk's signature applied on the sweet spot and Faber's on the west panel. In both cases the signatures display as the baseball was single-signed by either player. Single-signed balls from either player are quite valuable each fetching into the four figures. An exceptional dual-signed ball which could serve as a single-signed ball for either player. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
