Dating to the 1920s the collection includes: 1) Diamond Spitter Model Mask: Likely manufactured by Spalding a fine example with buckles and straps intact though no manufacturer's tag is present. 2) Stall & Dean Chest Protector: Large full-size protector with all buckles and straps present no holes or tears. EX condition. 3) Rare "Smooth Face" Shinguards: Draper & Maynard "Lucky Dog" tags exceedingly rare shinguards are smooth-surfaced with some use-related wear and tear. Padding and reverse lacing are intact. An excepetional collection of vintage catcher's equipment particularly noteworthy due to the rarity of the shinguards. Four pieces total.
