Unscored 1920 Polo Grounds official scorecard for a game between the New York Yankees and eventual World Champion Cleveland Indians. In outstanding condition the piece exhibits some slight toning along the spine and some fading on the interior scoring page along with signs of a long-ago flattened crease down the center. Ruth's first season as a Yankee was an exciting one; the Yankees won 95 games which was only good enough for third place as the Yankees finished behind Cleveland and Chicago. Ruth pounded 54 home runs with a .376 batting average setting the tone for what would be an incredible run of powerhouse seasons and international celebrity for the Yankees.
