Official scorecard for the 1901 Boston Americans for an amazing 15-inning pitcher's duel between Cy Young and Roscoe Miller of Detroit. The final score was 2-1 with Cy Young singling home his catcher Lou Criger with the winning run in the 15h. The game has been scored in pencil the year written on the front of the two-page scorecard which measures approximately 6" x 7 3/4" folded in half. Somg long-flattened folds are evident along with some notches along the bottom edge and a few corner dings along with a slightly uneven fold which causes the front and back pages to lie somewhat askew. An exceptional piece however as our interest in early scorecards continues to increase with each auction.
