Beautiful complete 1970 Topps set along with five checklist variations. The 1970 Topps set is susceptible to condition issues due not only to the inferior quality control on the part of Topps but also due to the propensity of the silver borders of the cards to display chipping at the corners and edges. This set has been assembled by a dedicated collector who built the set by buying large lots and choosing the best of the cards and continuously upgrading. While there remain opportunities for upgrading this set is primarily characterized by sharp corners and edges and clean image quality. There are instances where cards exhibit softer corners or centering issues but the majority of the cards present extremely well.
