Bright and clean ticket stub admitting the bearer to Game 3 of the 1933 World Series at Griffith Stadium in Washington to watch the Senators shut out the New York Giants behind the pitching of Earl Whitehill. It was the only win of the Series for the Washington team who scored two runs in the first inning off Freddie Fitzsimmons and then settled in pushing across two more during the course of the game behind an excellent offensive performance by second baseman Buddy Myer who went 3-for-4 with two runs batted in. Since the Senators never made another World Series after 1933 it also represents the team's last victory in a World Series game. The stub is soft around the edges with some moderate surface dirt and stray paper at the perforations but displays exctemely well an outstanding example from the last World Series game to be won in Washington - until this year.
