Exceptionally attractive ticket stub from Game 2 of the 1935 World Series an 8-3 victory for the Detroit Tigers over the Chicago Cubs at Navin Field. Mickey Cochrane doubed in a run in the first off Charlie Root Charlie Gehringer singled Cochrane home and Hank Greenberg followed with a two-run blast to put the Tigers ahead 4-0 a lead they would never relinquish behind the outstanding pitching of Tommy Bridges. Detroit would go on to win the World Series in six games. The stub presents very well but is quite flimsy at the perforation with light softening of the edges and rounding of the corners along with a few surface creases that are tough to pick up in the scan. FAIR condition still a difficult ticket that displays quite well for the grade.
