Very attractive ticket stub to Game 3 of the 1942 World Series (a misprint in our printed catalog misidentified this ticket as a 1943 World Series ticket). Game 3 was the first of three at Yankee Stadium all three of which were won by the Cardinals as they took four consecutive games from the Yankees. Game 3 was an exciting one a six-hit shutout by Ernie White the first World Series shutout of the Yankees in 16 years. The stub displays as EX condition with light corner wear; a bit of paper loss at the perf on the reverse would reduce its technical grade but certainly not its aesthetic appeal.
