Pair of Brooklyn Dodgers broadcasting agreements governing the 1947 and 1948 season including all the terms and conditions. The 1947 agreement called for payment between $75 000 and $150 000 depending on where the Dodgers finished in the standings. The following season the fee would call for $100 000 unless the Dodgers were mathematically elimiated prior to September 15 the fee would drop to $75 000. Both letters printed on extremely lightweight paper have been executed by Branch Rickey. Given their delicate nature the letters are in excellent condition with hole punches from filing some stray marks and staple holes and in the case of the 1948 letter which is printed on onion skin a few minor edge folds and tiny tears. Two interesting letters five pages in total with two signatures of Branch Rickey one of the most important figures in the evolution of the game. Letters of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
