1955 contract for Terris McDuffie (misspelled "McDuffy" in the contract itself) to play with the Marianao team of the Cuban league during the 1952-53 season. McDuffie was a pitcher who won more than 170 games in the minors and various Caribbean leagues and was a three-time All-Star in the Negro Leagues who called himself "The Great McDuffie." This contract was for McDuffie's final season in Latin America when he went 5-8 with a 2.91 ERA. The contract is well-worn dated November 11 of 1952 signed by McDuffie and a representative of the team. Several areas of foxing and minor staining are evident the bottom-right corner has been torn away and additional wear can be seen throughout. McDuffie's signature however is strong and legible. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
