Tremendous Baltimore Orioles cap dating between 1977-79 as worn by Hall of Fame manager Earl Weaver. The cap is in excellent condition with outstanding signs of use including ballfield dirt visible in the white area of the cap (possibly from being fired at the ground by the exasperated manager something he did frequently - often while arguing with umpires). New Era brand size 7 cap Weaver's number 4 written on the inside bill. Likely given directly to collector and Orioles broadcast Ted Patterson. LOA from MEARS.
