Pair of attractive unopened boxes of Salada-Junket "Freezing Mix." Junket Desserts have been manufactured since 1874 with the "freezing mix" (for making ice cream) introduced in 1934. In 1962 the company incorporated baseball player coins into each package (as well as into packages of Salada tea). Oresebted gere are two packages of the Junket "Freezing Mix " one of which based on the advertising copy on the front of the package includes one of the coins. While both of the packages boast clean attractive fronts the strawberry package (which includes the coin) exhibits some visible wear most notably on the reverse. The chocolate package is quite new in appearance. For protection both packages are housed in myler baggies and we have photographed them that way however they can easily be removed for display reasons. Two packages total.
