Lot Description  

Sharp and well-centered rookie card of Hall of Fame manager (and excellent player) Joe Torre. Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA the card is amazingly sharp almost as new with extremely light chipping along the edges. The woodgrain borders of the 1962 Topps issue are extremely susceptible to chipping and wear making high-grade examples difficult. Coupled with the inferior quality control from Topps in the era truly high-grade examples are extremely tough to find. An exceptional card.
