Clean and bright PC758-2 postcard picturing Heine Zimmerman of the Cubs in a batting pose graded VG/EX+ 4.5 by SGC due to light corner wear. Zimmerman is a very underrated player having finished a 13-year major league career with a .295 lifetime batting average. His 1912 season was his finest when he won the Triple Crown batting .372 with a career-high 14 home runs and 104 RBI. Personal issues caused his career after that to be spotty however and he became blackballed from the majors for conspiring to throw games. An interesting character with a fascinating story worth researching.
