Interesting souvenir postcard featuring Harry Lord who played with the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox as well as with the Buffalo Buffeds of the Federal League. After the Federal League ended Lord was blacklisted in baseball and never played again. The postcard pictures Lord in his Boston uniform as well as in the Brighton Academy uniform of his youth. His birthplace in Kelar Falls Maine is also pictured. The card is notably dark due likely to toning and yet is attractively designed. Postally unused the card grades VG without respect to the toning.
