A single SGC-graded Turkey Red cabinet card of Red Dooin that has attained the grade of NM+ 7.5 is the sole card keeping this from being the highest-graded example in the hobby (along with a PSA 7). This example is stellar with a clean surface sharp corners and edges and a faint hint of toning around the edges. The checklist back is sharp and clear. Turkey Red cabinet cards at this grade level are extremely difficult due to their size the cards were often displayed on walls or in scrapbooks and the result is frequent pinholes or tape marks on the reverse along with scrapbook remnants. Indeed of more than 8 000 examples from the set graded by either PSA or SGC only 53 have attained a grade of NM or better. A simply wonderful example with bright vivid color and perfect print registration.
