Measuring 7 3/4" x just shy of 11" outstanding mounted cabinet photo of Tigers first baseman Tom Jones nearing the end of his career. Jones played for eight seasons in the majors amassing a lifetime average of .251 hitting .255 as the starting first baseman for Detroit in his final season of 1910. The photo appears in EX condition with some minor wear at the corners but has largely been protected by the mount. The mount itself is in VG/EX condition with some wear at the corners and minor staining near the lower-right corner of the photo; Jones' name and team affiliation has been written in pencil on the reverse. An outstanding oversized photo of a major league ballplayer.
