Interesting grouping of three photos dating to 1909-11 two of which originate from an auction of Jimmy Austin's estate. Includes the following: 1) 8" x 12" Cabinet Photo: clean photo picturing Austin at bat. Some sort of masking agent is visible around Austin's image with significant corner clip at the upper right. Note that some paper at the bottom-left corner of the mount has flaked away since the scan in the listing was made as the paper on the mount is very brittle. The photo itself is in outstanding condition. 2) 10" x 8" Cabinet Photo: Gorgeous photo featuring six players three wearing Highlanders uniforms. The player on the left is likely Neal Ball second fron the right is likely Joe Ward with Austin on the far right. 3) Circa 1911 Paul Thompson Photo: Approximately 6" x 4 1/2" featuring members of the highlanders inside their dugout. Hal Chase can be seen in the foreground his arm hanging from the top of the dugout roof partially obscuring his face. Note that this third photo is not from Austin's estate but does come with the collection. Three photos total.
