Though this pass does have the appearance of a regular World Series pass it is in fact a very attractive press pass providing access to Shibe Park for the 1929 World Series. Issued to Charles L Herzog of the Baltimore Sun the piece provided press box access during all three games played at Shibe Park including the clinching Game 5. The pass was used for all three games as evidenced by the hole punches in the "Game Numbers" area of the pass. Well-worn gold pass exhibits chipping to the gold foil in all areas with rounded corners and overall toning from age. Still an outstanding pass to a great Athletics championship.
