Well-used the Globe reporter clearly spent time at the park watching Ruth pitch. Corner and edge wear are evident as is very mild staining and significant wrinkling from use. Occasionally a 1915 pass will come up for public auction accompanied by breathless marketing copy screeching "BABE RUTH'S ROOKIE SEASON!" and yet there's never a way to ensure that the holder of that pass ever witnessed Ruth. In this case however it is a season pass to Ruth's home ballpark - issued to a reporter from the hometown newspaper. Clearly a pass to witness Ruth in his first full season.
