Lot Description  

Sharp 5" x 7" photo picturing the dignified Philadelphia Athletics manager as used on his 1923 Willard Chocolates card (pictured here but not actually included in the lot with the photo). Mack handsomely dressed in street clothes with bowler hat and a heavy coat is described on the reverse as rebuilding the Athletics into a competitive team. The reverse contains handwritten notes a news slug and an International News Service photo. Photo is in outstanding condition with minor edge and corner wear. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
