Dramatic 7" x 9 1/8" photo by Herman Seid picturing a young Bob Feller pitching and a tremendous light stansion in the top-left of the photo depicting Cleveland's first night game on June 28 1939. At the time night baseball was still considered a novelty and Seid captured the event with true artistry. While the photo certainly pictures Feller and the light tower the subject of the photo itself is unmistakeable: the dark which dominates the photo.
