Very rare and desirable 1909 postcard advertising the Pittsburgh Pirates "Champions of the World." Affixed to the postcard is a miniature red felt pennant "Pittsburgh" emblazoned on it. The copy reads "We have two pennants now old boy / The "World's" and "National's" too; / And so you see it gives me joy / To send this one to you." Postally used the card is definitely in poor condition with several heavy creases and tears significant dirt and spots of paper loss on both front and back. Still an excellent example of the "Better to have a hole in the card than a hole in the collection" theory a rare postcard difficult to find in any grade.
