Single Spanish-language lobby card from the 1950 film The Jackie Robinson Story. 11" x 14" card is printed on heavy cardboard with a 7.75" x 9.75" original Type 1 photo affixed to the card. The Spanish language card was manufactured for the film's Cuban release and issued as a set of eight different cards. The pieces rarely make themselves available to the hobby; we offered a grouping of six in an auction last year and have seen none since. This example is well-worn with significant staining surface abrasions and dirt. Still it is likely the most desirable of the series as it pictures Robinson at bat the cleanest image of Robinson of the eight photos in the set.
