Exceptional pair of c. 1939 postcards featuring Puerto Rican league teams. Collection includes: 1) Team Caguas (Puerto Rico): circa 1939 real photo postcard depicting 16 team members. GOOD condition postally unused with some staining on the reverse. 2) Team Mayaguez-India (Puerto Rico): beautiful team photo depicting the team in front of what appears to be the ocean. An advertisement for India beer appears at the top of the postcard the phrase "Made here by those here for those here" underneath the logo. Postally unused but fair condition due to some surface abrasions and staining. Two fantastic postcards.
