Interesting collection of Walter Johnson-related cards and memorabilia all more seldom seen creating an excellent grouping of material. Collection includes: 1) M114 Baseball Magazine Poster: Clearly in poor condition yet still attractive due to the vintage frame in which it resides. Inside the ornate maroon-and-gold frame the piece measures 23" x 13" and displays quite well regardless of the condition simply projecting the image of age as if it could have hung over a fireplace 100 years ago. 2) 1910s Walter Johnson Birthplace Postcard by W.C. Caldwell: Graded GOOD 2 by SGC highly desirable vintage postcard containing a photo of Walter Johnson's boyhood home in Humboldt Kansas along with an image of Johnson in his Senators sweater. 3) 1920s Universal Toy & Novelty Walter Johnson: Attractive but graded AUTHENTIC by SGC largely due to the strip card having been cut too close to the card image. Still attractive a tougher card of the Big Train. Three items total.
