Clean 6 1/2" x 8 3/4" portrait photo of Hall of Famer Ed Roush dating to 1916 featuring the outfielder in his Giants uniform. Roush lasted just 38 games with the Giants before going to Cincinnati in the same trade that sent Christy Mathewson west to manage the team. Roush would go on to thrive with the Reds after being unhappy with New York under John McGraw. The photo appears strong though tracking of Roush's facial features can be seen upon close examination. The tracing along with editorial stamps and handwritten notations are visible on the reverse.
