Exceptional season pass to the 1951 Pittsburgh Pirates as issued to former ballplayer Lute Boone. Boone a Pittsburgh native had the extraordinarily difficult job of replacing Honus Wagner at shortstop upon his retirement in 1918. Boone would hit just .198 in 91 at bats that season Boone spent most of his baseball career in the minors finally retiring from baseball in 1936. This pass was clearly well-used in VG condition with some wear at the edges and some minor creasing along the right side. Some minor writing on the reverse is also evident. Still an attractive pass.
