Lot Description  

Interesting 1906 V.O. Hammon Chicago Cubs "Teddy Bear" postcard. The Hammon company is known in the hobby for its Chicago Cubs and White Sox team postcards. The company also produced some more whimsical baseball-themed designs this one depicting a teddy bear carrying a baseball and a 1906 pennant. Postally unused the postcard grades FAIR 20 by SGC due to overall wear and moderate creasing. Still a difficult postcard and outstanding companion to the more common 1906 Hammon Chicago Cubs team postcard.
