Lot Description  

Attractive pair of 1906 V. O. Hammond postcards featuring the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox team photos. Both grade POOR 10 due to overall soiling and wear the White Sox postcard mailed on October 27 1907 to Detroit. The Cubs postcard features Hall of Famers Mordecai Brown Frank Chance Johnny Evers and Joe Tinker. The White Sox postcard depicts Hall of Famers Charlie Comiskey Ed Walsh and George Davis. A pair of outstanding documents of the 1906 Chicago baseball teams.
