Attractive framed Indianapolis Clowns broadside advertising poster measuring 15 1/2" x 23" in its frame. This poter design was employed by the Clowns teams well into the 1980s and was also reprinted in the modern era. Between the reprints and the 1980s broadsides the poster is ubiquitous in the hobby and demand is low. It is important to note that this broadside actually dates to 1967 to a fundraiser held in Marion Ohio for the Marion School for Boys. Newspaper accounts corroborate the event which was attended by the great Satchel Paige. Local youth sporting events were canceled that day so children could attend the event.
