100+ year old photo of Leach Cross and stablemate Joe Stein with their trainers and a second shot of Cross alone from the same session as taken by prolific sports photographer George Grantham Bain. Both photos have wet-stamped Bain backs. Cross a Jewish boxer whose real name was Dr. Louis Wallach was a fighting dentist who had more than 150 bouts and was active between 1905 and 1921. Hobbyists will recognize him from the T220 set. Some wear is evident on both photos however the image quality is strong.
