I have one to sell!
Full ticket from July 4 1919 bout between Jack Dempsey and the much older (and much heavier) Jess Willard famous for the brutal beating Dempsey delivered. Willard received $100 000 for the fight and Dempsey just $27 500 as they fought before a crowd of 19 500 in Toledo Ohio. In the first round Demosey knocked Willard down seven times. Willard's corner threw in the towel after the third round the beaten and bloodied fighter allegedly suffering a broken jaw multiple facial fractures broken ribs and severe lacerations of the face. Video of the fight is available and it is indeed brutal. This full ticket is in spectacular condition grading technically as VG/EX due to corner wear toning and some soiling on the reverse. Still it presents extremely well an outstanding document of a memorable fight.
