I have one to sell!
Visually striking issue of Strength magazine dated to October of 1927 just after the Yankees won the World Series and as Ruth and Gehrig were taking off on their "Bustin' Babes and Larrupin' Lous" barnstorming tour. The magazine is an early fitness-related magazine with exercise tips and articles about bodybuilders boxers workout routines and of course the "Babe Ruth vs. Gehrig" article touted on the cover. The cover itself is bold and red an illustration of Babe Ruth clean and worthy of display. The 8 1/2" x 11 1/2" magazine displays exceptionally well despite being in G to VG condition due to some overall surface wear staining and discoloration along with some moderate edge wear particularly at the spine. The price of 25 cents has been crossed off and replaced with a 10 also adding to its technical condition issues and yet the piece retails exceptional eye appeal.
