Colorful 9 1/4" x 12" six-page music sheet with words by J.W. Spencer for ukulele that would be much better displayed than played due to its illustrated depiction of the Sultan of Swat gazing off to right field undoubtedly following the home run that he just walloped. The deep red-framed border has absorbed must of the age-related wear in the form of chipping and some slight wrinkles and tears; chipping at the spine is hidden quite well by the striking red background. Also included is a small 3/4" diameter pinback button containing the date song title and 25-cent price. While the sheet music is not particularly scarce the button is much more difficult to find. An interesting pair of Ruth-related items suitable for display.
