Official "Serie Del Caribe" baseball manufactured in Cuba by Batos. Likely dating to the 1950s this ball resided in Cuba until just recently and is in outstanding condition given its age and country of origin. A coat of heavy shellac protects the ball as well as the unidentifiable signature applied in pink fiber tip marker to the west panel. Vintage Cuban baseballs are scarce and quite desirable and this example is remarkably well-preserved.
