Lot Description  

1925 International Newsreel Photo and Murder Report. The "Sensational Senegalese " Battling Siki was the 175-pound champ in the 1920s. He lived a rough lifestyle drinking and brawling and was murdered in New York City in 1925. This 1925 photo of Siki in his prime is accompanied by the slug discussing his murder. Dated December 15 1925 the photo is in VG condition presenting more strongly than the technical grade the slug still attached at the reverse.
