Pair of tickets to see the NHL All-Stars and Soviet Union All-Stars square off against one another in Game 2 of the 1979 Challenge Cup at Madison Square Garden. The Cup was a series of international games between the Soviet National team and a group of NHL all-stars. The Challenge Cup replaced the All-Star festivities for the 1978-79 season and the NHL All-Stars were defeated 2 games to 1. The NHL roster included such stars as Guy Lafleur Bobby Clarke Brian Trottier Mike Bossy Denis Potvin Gerry Cheevers and Ron Greschner. The stubs are in VG/EX condition with overall wear to the edges and corners along with some miderate soiling that does not affect the aesthetics of the stubs. Two stubs total.
