Interesting hockey ticket stub from the Philadelphia Spectrum from the 1976 Flyers vs. Soviet Army game. This game was well-known because the Soviet team's top player received a body check that left him prone on the ice. When a penalty was not called on the Flyers' Ed Van Impe for delivering the body check Red Army coach Konstantin Loktev pulled his team off the ice in protest. After receiving threats not to be paid for the game the team eventually came back on the ice and lost the game 4-1. The Flyers were the only NHL team to defeat the Red Army. The stub itself is in VG/EX condition with moderate wear at the corners and edges. Color and image quality is strong. An interesting ticket to a long-forgotten game when the Soviet Union and US were locked in the middle of a Cold War.
