I have one to sell!
Featuring eight players with eventual Major League experience the Omaha Omahogs relocated twice during the season a tumultuous one that saw the team finish the season with a 55-68 record under three different managers. Presented here is a ticket book containing 22 tickets from that season. The tickets likely originated from a find of such books uncovered in Nebraska some years ago at least one of which was destroyed by its owner to make individual tickets that were submitted to PSA for grading. Several others were sold locally to individual collectors in Nebraska with a few making their way to eBay. While the total number found is open to speculation we believe there may have been as many as 25 books though only about 8 or 9 have surfaced in the hobby. This one appears in EX/MT condition the tickets well-preserved by the textured cover. The inside cover marked as "Book No. 76 " was very likely signed by David Rowe team president (and one of their three managers) who played parts of seven seasons with six teams and who was a player/manager for the Kansas City Cowboys for parts of two seasons as well. Regardless of relative scarcity this is a wonderful piece well-preserved with very attractive illustration work on each ticket.
