Interesting collection of 24 snapshots and three postcard-sized photos virtually all featuring players from what is undoubtedly an amateur or high school team based in New York State. Each of the photos are dated August 1938 with handwritten notations on the reverse virtually all including the last names of the subject of each photo. Our assumption that the photos originate from New York stems from a reference to "Dodgers vs. Wallkill" on the reverse of the full team photo though our research could not uncover the team name or league in which they played. Still 27 interesting and clean photos very well-preserved an outstanding research project for a curious collector.
