Spectacular cloth banner memorializing the 1963 World Series between the Dodgers and the Yankees. Featuring not a single Dodgers player the 19" x 28" banner takes the Red Sox fans' approach to rooting (and yes that was a dig) by simply rooting against their opponent the New York Yankees. Featuring phrases like "Murder Maris!" "Mangle Mickey!" "Hang Howard " and "Pulverize Pepitone " such aggressive language would likely not be acceptable by today's standards however the vintage artwork makes an attractive and interesting 1960s-era piece. Displaying in VG/EX condition with some folds and wrinkles likely easily pressed out telltale tack holes at the corners and some age-related soiling.
