Visually striking issue of Strength magazine dated to October of 1927 just after the Yankees won the World Series and as Ruth and Gehrig were taking off on their "Bustin' Babes and Larrupin' Lous" barnstorming tour. The magazine is an early fitness-related magazine with exercise tips and articles about bodybuilders boxers workout routines and of course the "Babe Ruth vs. Gehrig" article touted on the cover. The cover itself is bold and red an illustration of Babe Ruth clean and worthy of display. The 8 1/2" x 11 1/2" magazine displays exceptionally well in apparent EX condition with minor edge wear and wrinkles that are inconsequential to the aesthetic appeal of the piece.
