Lot Description  

Attractive Bain News Service photo of future Hall of Famer Max Carey dated August 31 1921. Measuring 5" x 7" the photo depicts Carey in front of the Pirates dugout about to swing the bat the grandstand full of spectators behind him. The photo is worn with some creasing along the borders and minor corner clips along with stamped and handwritten notations on the reverse. Still a very attractive photo.
