Rare and valuable advertising piece dating to the 1920s. Measuring 11" tall this tin cylinder created to house Jim Dandies Blanched Jumbo Salted Peanuts depicts children playing baseball on its colorful exterior along with other children watching the game. The piece itself exhibits considerable rust and wear with the color worn through in places on the side and significant rust on the exposed tin. However the significance of this piece is less in its condition and more in its rarity and baseball-related content. Still an excellent display piece despite the wear a remarkable example of how turn-of-the-century baseball imagery was once used to advertise any type of product imaginable.
