I have one to sell!
Known as "Canadian Goudey " the 1936 World Wide Gum issue featured black and white player photos (similar to the 1936 American counterparts) with the player name and card number superimposed onto the card front. The reverse featured the player name team and position followed by brief biographical information printed in both English and French. Considered to be a much more scarce issue than their American cousins Hall of Fame cards traditionally sell for a premium over the American cards.Graded VG 40 by SGC this card of Hall of Fame shortstop Arky Vaughan boasts strong image quality but surface edge and corner wear consistent with the grade. While the reverse is clean the upper edge shows some chipping and corner creasing and the bottom two corners appear slightly dog-eared due to overall age-related wear. Still an excellent type card of a less-than-plentiful card issue from the gum era.Population DataSGC Population: 10 total graded 3 at this level 6 higherPSA Population: 12 total graded 1 at this level 9 higher
