I have one to sell!
One of the more widely-collected 19th Century non-Hall of Famers William "Dummy" Hoy was a 5'4" deaf mute player who overcame all obstacles to play 14 seasons with a .288 lifetime batting average. He stole nearly 600 bases. It is Hoy that is credited with the advent of umpires' hand signals. Hoy lived to 99 years old and according to the biographical information in The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company was the last surviving player who appeared in the Old Judge set. This card catalogued in the aforementioned book as #238-3 has been graded VG+ 45 by SGC due to light soiling and overall wear. The image depicting Hoy bending to pick up a grounder is relatively crisp and clear. A fine example of a very desirable subject.
