On Tuesday August 3 1909 the 7th place St. Louis Browns rolled into Hilltop Park for a doubleheader and were beaten in the first game by the Highlanders 5-4. Future Hall of Famer Rube Waddell started the game for the Browns and gave up three runs in the game according to the neatly scored center page. Aside from the aforementioned scoring and game-related markings clearly illustrating the game date and final score on the cover the scorecard is in VG/EX condition with only minor wear at the corners and edges. Yet another wonderful Hilltop Park-related artifact a wonderful display of early Yankees memorabilia.
