The Grignon Postcards were issued in 1907 to memorialize the Chicago Cubs" dominant season of 1906. This example has been graded Authentic by PSA likely due to the perception of a slight trimming at the left (and possibly right) edges when viewing the card horizontally. Were it assigned a numeric grade it would grade very low partially due to overall surface wear and creasing consistent with age and having been sent through the mail and mostly due to the postal use as the card was mailed from Chicago to Minnesota in August of 1908.The scarcity of this particular card makes the numerical grade irrelevant however as just three copies have been graded - two AUTHENTIC grades from PSA and one POOR 10 from SGC.
